The library collection are of different kinds and formats. Students’ access is controlled; open access is allowed to shelves (which are under lock and key) to fairly look through glasses; upon request / demand, the staff bring out the book (s) for the user. Some books, identified as “Infrequent used books” are kept on open shelves and directly accessible to the user. However, the rare collection of books and journal is at present closed to all user, identified as “Closed Stack Area”. As per records the library has a collection of more than 45000 volumes of books. Library subscribing more than 97000 e-books and more than 6000 e-journals through N-LIST of INFLIBNET. These e-resources are accessible and available in the library.
